We’re always looking for quality new private home tutors to join our network and our private tutors come from a variety of backgrounds:
- Teachers, tutors, lecturers or teaching assistants
- Professionals with a particular skill (for example writers and accountants)
We can offer you:

What do you need to become a tutor for 121 Home Tutors?
- You’ll be committed to learning and passionate about your subject and knowledgeable about current curriculum requirements in your subject areas
- You’ll be patient, adaptable and flex to the learning needs of your student
- You’ll be reliable, trustworthy and honest
- You’ll ideally be able to commit to provide at least two hours a week of tuition for at least 6 months
- You’ll be qualified or experienced at a higher level (ideally degree level) or hold a teaching degree BSC(Hons), BA(Hons), BED(Hons), PGCE or equivalent.
- You’ll be willing to provide proof of qualifications, proof of ID and of ability to work in the UK, at least two references and a valid DBS (or be willing to apply for a DBS)
- For Face to Face tuition, you’ll additionally need to live or want to work in Cheshire East (to include Warrington and surrounds), Manchester or Stockport areas
